Thank you for your interest in my on-site workshops. To schedule a workshop for your organization, kindly contact me via the links at the bottom of this page.
The workshop content is highly interactive and flexible, however a few guidelines help set expectations and assure that every workshop is productive and enjoyable:
Setup
- The customer provides training facilities that include a projector, 2 flip charts, and tables that allow attendees to work in groups. I supply books, pens, and props for exercises.
Confidentiality
- The workshop exercises are synthetic (realistic, but unrelated to current client work) to allow us to dive into nuances and to discuss openly.
- When we use real examples in discussions, we follow Chatham House rules: participants are encouraged to use what they learn, but are asked to not share the source.
- I take pictures of the flip charts and the participants doing exercises to share privately with the participants only.
Scheduling and Payment
- As I reserve time slots and incur up-front travel expenses, we agree that in case of a cancellation by the customer not subject to force majeure, the following fees are due:
- less than 30 days before the event: 25% of the quoted fee
- less than 14 days before the event: 50% of the quoted fee
- I will not cancel any event except for illness or unforeseen logistics failures. If this ever happens (it hasn’t yet), I will offer alternate dates. If we cannot agree on a suitable date, no charges incur.
- I quote a fixed travel allowance based on location. If I can combine multiple client engagements in a single trip, I reduce the travel allowance proportionally.
- I will invoice with a 14-day term from the date of the event. Any vendor registration, if any, should be conducted before the event.
